Isabellaaaaaaa!

Hey! Who's that?
Why is she doing that with my love, Bruno Mars?
Why oh why? :(
Pushing that sad feeling aside...
Well, if you haven't seen the video yet, we'll take a look at here: Gorilla Music Video
At the beginning of the video, there were these two women who seem to be gossiping about a "Girl". And it was Isabella. Then as the song starts, there she goes sensually dancing all the way to the stage. And it was Isabella, again.
Who is she?
Yes. As the lyrics of the song suggests, she's the lady we have here who made Bruno feel like a Gorilla while on love making. She's this sexy lady, the new one in town. Isabella is the new "Showgirl" in the club.
But who is Isabella?
Why is she so lucky to have been paired with the Pop Crooner and acting as if they were doing this steamy hot deed? Why is she on this thrilling music video of Bruno?
For me, it was the first time to have seen her. But to many, she was a familiar face. Upon reading the comments on Mars' Facebook fan page, I've learned that the "Lucky Girl" was the Slumdog Millionaire star, Freida Pinto.
She is an Indian actress and model born in Mumbai. Hailing from a Mangalorean Catholic
family. Before
making her cinematic debut, she worked as a model and television
presenter, and acted in plays while attending college. Pinto continued
modeling for four years and enrolled herself in an acting course at the
"Barry John's Acting Studio" in Mumbai.
Pinto rose to prominence playing the role of "Latika" in the 2008 British Indian drama film Slumdog Millionaire, a film that marked her debut. Her performance was well received, and she won the "Breakthrough Performance Award" at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. In addition, her work was nominated at various award ceremonies such as British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) and MTV Movie Awards. Since then she has starred in a number of British-Indian and Indian-American productions, notably You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Immortals and Trishna, where she played the titular character.
So just to connect her Gorilla performance, maybe it was her starring on the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes, made her the best for the new Bruno Music Video. Yeaaa. Just a thought! ;)
Now, all my questions and I bet yours too were answered. :D
Freida dancing on the pole, licking the electric guitar strings of Bruno while kneeling in front of him and lighting up the place with a fire from a match burning the guitar was just one of the very outstandingly hot scenes of the actress. Not mentioning her kissing scenes with my dear Bruno, she's so lucky and more than that blessed for having done the biggest role in the most anticipated music video these days.
She even posted a link on her twitter to this bunch of positive comments about the music video.
I, as the very crazy fan girl and lover of Bruno Mars find Ms. Pinto worth my green eye. LOL! But, all their sexy scenes? I don't have to get jealous, HAHA! It was all for a spectacular work of art and music, a Gorilla-like performance caught on tape for some good worldwide viewing.
Freida Pinto caught my eye!

SENATORS: Vote for 12. Do I really have to?
Yesterday was a symbolic event for someone as young as me. Hihi. ;)
Yes! I'm still young.
13th of May 2013 was my very first time to cast a vote after being registered almost a year ago, not because I really wanted to but because it's one of the requisites of my 1st ever job after graduation. so I had my nail inked with the Incredible - Indelible one. Good thing I'm not fond of nail arts and polishes, I didn't go crazy when the PCOS lady at the Precinct almost poured the ink on my Index Finger. So much more on my 1st time voting experience at What I Gotta Say?
Yep. It's my first time but definitely not my first exposure in politics. I mean, I was that kid who always inject interest into herself when it comes to the business Politicians have. now, that it's my turn to voice out, I have decided quickly yet carefully.
I wanted not to vote for 12 people for the Senate since I do not like most of them. But, I'm afraid that the machine won't eat my ballot so I just did. I read everyone's names first then shaded the oval of my 1st choice. She is none other than Grace Poe. I can't exactly define why but you know, just like LOVE - you can't give reasons you just feel it. :p
Then I gave a point for the Independent Candidates who have unwaveringly tried their luck to the Senate, just like Bro. Eddie Villanueva. I am no part of his religious alliance but I just thought of giving him a try since his Faith has been so strong since the past 3 elections, I think. We need a man who will stay firm in the midst of all the drama in the Upper Legislative Office.
I also voted for Hagedorn, Trillanes, Belgica and Casino. Since i need to complete the 12 just to make sure that they'll count my ballot, I merely shaded the ovals near the names of Escudero, Angara, Cayetano and... the rest? I completely forgot. What I just made sure is that I've counted them 12 people in all.
PLUS! I made sure that I didn't lose my mind and accidentally picked Nancy Binay. She did nothing wrong to me. I just don't like her, most especially background-wise. I don't think she is equipped to be part of the 12 at this stage of her life. I believe she still has to work harder and prove herself first not in the Senate yet but probably on the lower ranks first. And I would admit that listening to Vice Ganda's take on the daughter of Vice President Jejomar Binay's candidacy contributed to my views too. The Phenomenal Star was absolutely correct. His wits guided not to shade that oval of Binay's, I must say.
I think I would have to have a better and much thorough discussion about Makati's OJT, Binay, in the coming days still in one of my blogs. Watch out! :)
They were my Senators. And how about you? Who were your senators? Who caught your eye?
